Program Description

This one day workshop is designed for coaches and teacher leaders committed to improving reading instruction across grades K–5. The workshop provides practical tools to support teachers in delivering effective, research-based literacy instruction in small groups.

Participants will have the chance to observe live small group lessons, and practice coaching readers in labsite classroom experiences. The workshop also fosters a collaborative community of practice where coaches and teachers analyze student work, plan next instructional steps, and develop strategies to help all students build strong, confident literacy skills.
