Teachers College Advancing Literacy invites you to attend our annual Virtual Saturday Literacy Fest happening Saturday, February 28, 2026! We'll join together over Zoom from 11am ET - 1pm ET to learn and collaborate with literacy leaders, staff developers, and friends of Teachers College.
Choose from a wide range of free workshops aimed to provide support for teachers and school leaders, and ultimately the students you serve. We're also excited to offer workshops for families and caregivers, too! These workshops are designed to provide opportunities for role-playing, studying teaching, sharing stories, thinking together, and more.

Essential Information
Accessing Sessions
Virtual sessions will take place via Zoom. You do not need a Zoom account to participate.
Each virtual session has a unique Zoom link. Click on the link next to the title of the session to join. In order to get to the next session you plan to attend, you need to leave the meeting you’re in and click on the next link.
If you are locked out of a meeting, we have likely reached capacity for that meeting. Please choose another workshop!
Participation
To participate in this event, you agree to conduct that is professional and respectful toward all members/presenters. We reserve the right to remove comments and individuals from the group/presentation that do not follow these guidelines.
Please keep yourself muted at all times unless you are actively speaking.
Please be a good Zoom citizen:
Please do not leave sessions early or join sessions late! This is disruptive to the presenters and your fellow participants.
Please be respectful of the presenter’s time. We know many people might want to stay after a session has ended to ask questions, but the presenter may need to go to their next session to present.
Recording & Materials
Making recordings of any portion of this event is unlawful and violates the rights of Teachers College and individual instructors and speakers. Teachers College reserves all rights to bring legal action against any individual believed to have engaged in unlawful recording, copying, sharing, or posting and/or any other violation of law, including without limitation copyright and privacy laws.
If you miss your session or want to attend more than one, we cannot send you a recording.
Materials are not shared during our Saturday Literacy Fest, and will not be made available to participants after the event.
Troubleshooting on Zoom
If you are using the Zoom app, make sure you have updated to the latest version.
If you click on a meeting link and it says that the host hasn’t started the meeting, please give it a moment; you can also double-check your schedule to make sure you’re clicking on the correct link and that's it the correct time/time zone.
If you are having trouble getting into a meeting or breakout room, please first try quitting the Zoom app or your browser and reopening. If that does not work, please try restarting your computer. If you’re using a Chromebook, you may need to use the main room to discuss.
Unfortunately, due to the high volume of sessions and participants at the Saturday Literacy Fest, we are not able to provide technical support for individual participants.
